01/
Disassemble Motor
Our first step in the process of rebuilding a motor is tear down, and inspecting parts. We find the issue to what caused your motor to have problems in the first place.
02/
Cleaning
Next, we clean the parts that meet our standards. Each part is throughly cleaned, checked for factory tolerances, and made ready for machine work and reassembly.
03/
Machine work
We send parts such as blocks, cranks, and injectors to trained professionals to ensure quality and proficiency. Using the proper equipment to guarantee the highest standard of performance.
04/
Reassembly
While machine work is being done we order all new assembly parts.
Once all the parts are back together the powerhead is ready to be installed.
05/
Break In
We want your motor to be water ready! That's why after the powerhead is complete we take the time to break in the motor to make sure it is up to our standards.
06/
Painting
You want a good looking motor along with a good performing one. That's why every motor is completely sanded and primed before any paint can be applied. We only allow our top professionals to use their skills to ensure every motor and part has a clean paint job.
07/
Warranty
Each powerhead is built with precision and careful inspection. That's why we provide you with a 90 day warranty on any mechanical failure. We take pride in our work so we want to stand behind it.
The Details
Our Rebuild Process in detail
Lower unit pressure tested. Seals replaced if needed
New Water pump
New Gear oil
New Spark plugs
Manual fuel pumps replaced or rebuilt.
Injectors flow tested by Brucato - replaced as needed or mechanically adjusted
Bored/honed all cylinders by Jay's machine shop
New pistons and ring kits
Everything is check and replaced as needed
All gaskets are replaced
Inspect reed valves replaced as needed
Check all recirculation and valves replaced as needed.
All thermostats are replaced
Popit valves are checked.
On all engines, everything is set back to factory specs. Timing tps sensors, etc.
